When I was little everybody used to say I had a great imagination. I would tell them stories about horses flying out into space and coming back with moon rocks that were poisonous and scary. I used to tell them stories about happy little animals running through the forest and talking to each other in secret languages. I even used telling stories about scary zombies around the campfire. People thought that all of my stories were so wacky and crazy. They thought that I was making them all up on the spot but actually I wrote them down earlier in the day. I guess this does not mean that I have less of imagination. It just means that I am not as good as thinking on my feet as people might think. I’m happy to confuse them though because I want them to think that I’m smart and fast thinking. I know that I could be fast thinking if I just spent a little more time taking about how to create stories on-the-fly.
