07.11

Bottled water is more than just a convenience. Of course buying water that tastes better than the chemically treated stuff that comes out of the tap is probably more healthy and easy to drink, but bottled water has other other good things going for it as well mostly in the areas of marketing. There are many brands of bottled water but a growing marketing trend is bottled water that has a company logo or brand name that has nothing to do with water. It is somewhat like billboard advertising but on something that will be looked every time you take a sip of water. These custom water bottles are more than just personalized vanity items, they are like excellent marketing tools that can propagate around the world and get seen by thousands of people. The good news is to do this you do not have find a spring and buy a bunch of water bottling equipment. You can have established bottlers do custom labels for whatever you want, and then distribute your very own customized bottled water.

Gourmet Gift Baskets

It seems that there are literally hundreds of choices when it comes to buying gourmet gift baskets these days, with a large percentage of those baskets centered around wine. So what is one winery, which would be wonderful to be included in such a basket?

Many people know that California’s Napa Valley produces some of the best (if not the best by itself) Cabernet Sauvignon in the world today and Cult Cabernet’s are now the rage in Napa Valley. A Cult Cab is a wine, hand made in small numbers, typically with a long waiting list for the opportunity to purchase. Screaming Eagle is probably the most famous Cult Cab in the history of Napa Valley, with the brand recently being sold for over thirty five million dollars. Reports are that the waiting list, for a wine which costs well over two hundred dollars per bottle is over a decade!
